About Me

2008 - 2009

Between my 2008 – 2009 I started deciding what I wanted to do with my life, it was either become an artist, or a project manager. I took a class that taught me how to be a band/music manager which was pretty awesome, but it gave me something, it gave me inspiration, motivation, and a drive.  I found happiness in learning something I was interested in. although I took an honors art class I felt my art was never good enough, my instructor was an amazing teacher and extremely gifted, but every piece I made or drew he always shot down or said something negative, besides I love & enjoy drawing or making art, but only from my heart, I have made some art pieces for family and friends, but selling personal art is still hard for me. So I decided to pursue a career in project management and drafting or design.

My senior year in high school was the year I got back into sports, a lot of my older friends had graduated, and my other friends had jobs or boyfriends and we as a group just sort of started going our own ways. So I told myself I was going to do something, for me and join a sports activity, which was track. Unlike soccer or cheerleading, track was one-on-one, it dealt with racing, self-discipline, and training. I remember my class was start at 3:00pm after school and we would have to run long periods of time each day. I remember reaching back to school around 5pm sometimes even 6pm. Then class would be over. I loved it. I enjoyed long distance running, and I loved the feeling it gave me. It was during this time I found something I can escape to, besides music, or my art. I just felt empowered, happiness, and well-being.

After graduating High School, I still continued to run whenever I could, usually at a park or around the neighborhood.
